BARRETT, BETTY LEE Born December 1, 1923, Died January 24, 2015 Betty Lee Jones grew up during the Depression years. She married Woodrow W. Barrett on June 26, 1942. They enjoyed over fifty years of marriage until his death in 1998. She reared eight children. Betty loved each of her children with her whole heart and only ever wanted the best for them. She was predeceased by one daughter, Linda, and one son, John. She is survived by three daughters, Michael, Elizabeth, and Rose Mary, and three sons, Woodrow A., Christopher, and David. She had many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Betty was an avid scouter and won the silver fawn for her work in that area. She taught English in Okinawa and taught art in Germany. For those of us who truly knew her, she shall be sorely missed.
