ALBERTS, HERBERT L. Korean War veteran Herbert Alberts, Jr. passed away on February 20, 2015. Born in Worcester, MA on July 10, 1932, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Alberts; his parents, Herbert Alberts, Sr., and wife, Virginia; his son, Herbert Alberts, Jr.; his nieces, Becky and Aletha Davis; his daughter, Pauline Serna, and husband, Robert, and his grandsons, Thomas Peters and Daniel Morales. He is survived by his brother, Donald Alberts, and wife, Shirley; his daughter, Cora Lee Mohamed; grandchildren, Marie Mohamed, and Kenny McCarthy; daughters, Judy Steel and Nikki Peters; son, Carl Thompson, and wife, Rhonda; 13 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Sandia Memorial Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Drive NE, in Albuquerque.
