BOLLINGER, ISABELLE Isabelle Bollinger passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the age of 86. She was born on November 25, 1925 in Albuquerque, NM. Isabelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Ninfer Louise Bollinger; and a son, Steven Bollinger. She is survived by Doyle, her husband of 64 years; son, David Bollinger and wife, Denise; daughter, Linda Romero and husband, Raymond; daughter Loretta Olson and husband, Mark; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and numerous other relatives and friends. Isabelle had her own business for many years in Old Town. She was a great Volunteer for many organizations; University Hospital, Our Lady of Assumption School and Church, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and Kachina Greeter. Isabelle was a tour guide for many years and an active volunteer at San Felipe Church Museum, St. Vincent DePaul, Friends of the Aquarium and Botanic Gardens, and the Hispanic Cultural Center. She also served as a board member of Vista Magnifica Neighborhood Association and a greeter for new owners which moved into the neighbor. Her greatest hobby was working in flower beds. A Visitation will be held at French-University Chapel on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to Rosary at 7:00 p.m. to be led by Rita Fuentes. A Service will be held at French -University Chapel on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerry Steinmetz officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, 8100 Constitution Place NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
