Elsie M. Clingenpeel, 97, died January 2, 2017. She is survived by her children, Susan Clingenpeel and husband, Jeremy Sprung, Scott Clingenpeel and wife, Laura; grandchildren, Travis, Hannah, Zachary and wife, Penny, Noel and Jasmine; her sister-in-law, Margaret; and many other family members and friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her parents, Edward and Katie Padgett; and her siblings, Roy and Chick. Elsie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed. She was a woman of amazing courage, generosity, compassion and creativity. She had a great love for adventure and travel. Mr. and Mrs. Clingenpeel were members of Los Altos Christian Church. Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2017, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.
