DETRICK, BRYAN &Quot;SCOTT&Quot; 1972-2012 Age 40, of Los Lunas, was returned to the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2012 after battling brain cancer. He was born on November 9, 1972 in Carlsbad, NM. He grew up and was educated in Carlsbad until he moved to Albuquerque in 1987, and then to Los Lunas in 1988. Bryans tremendous faith and love for the Lord was an inspiration to everyone who was blessed to have met him. He worked for the Los Lunas Community Program for 14 years. He loved to be outdoors, playing softball, fishing, golfing and camping. He was a major fan of the Carolina Panthers. His gigantic heart, bright smile and famous bear hugs will forever be missed. He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by grandparents Dick and Harriet Turner; and Robert and Ruth Detrick; Uncle John Detrick; Aunt Ruth Ann Detrick-Mitchell; Uncle Rick Turner; father-in-law, Gary Johnson; and beloved dog, Sampson. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Shelly Detrick of Los Lunas; son, Jonathan Darrough of Los Lunas; daughter, Ashley Johnson and husband Anthony of Albuquerque; son, Nathan Darrough of Los Lunas; daughter, Kierston Allen-Detrick of Carlsbad; parents, Richard and Sandy Detrick of Carlsbad; brother, Gary Detrick of Carlsbad; brother, Robert Detrick and wife Donna of Carlsbad; sister, Deana Pearce and husband Jim of Carlsbad; sister, Beth Moomey and husband Lyle of Bosque Farms; mother-in-law, Darlene Johnson of Belen; granddaughters, Samantha and Jaymie Boling and their mother Daisy Patrick of Los Lunas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and close friends. Services will be held Wednesday, November 21, at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, beginning with a visitation at 9:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen. Urn bearers will be nephews, Nicholas Pearce, Billy Baker, Andy Baker and Eric Baker. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
