BIATHROW, ELLERY A. JR. &Quot;SKIP&Quot; of Albuquerque, NM, Age 69 , passed away peacefully December 30, 2012. He was born on February 7, 1943 in White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, CA to Josephine and Ellery Biathrow. Skip graduated from Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, CA in 1961. After, he received an Agricultural Engineering Degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He obtained membership in the National Society of Professional Engineers with a specialty in civil engineering. Skip was a small business owner of his own engineering firm in California before moving to Phoenix, AZ where he was employed by Maricopa County Flood Control. He and his wife of 49 years moved to Albuquerque in 1993. Skip served as the city Engineer for Gallup, NM and Santa Fe, NM. At the time of passing, he was employed by the New Mexico Department of Transportation. Skip’s passion in life was ministering to Native Americans, supporting Veggie Lifestyles and Sandia View Academy in Corrales, NM. He was an elder of the Rio Rancho Seventh day Adventist Church. Skip is survived by his wife, Karen; sister, Jerrie; brother-in-law, Keith and wife, Judy; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on January 6, 2013 at Rio Rancho Seventh day Adventist Church, 1351 Westside Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
