EWING, LOUIS &Quot;BUB&Quot; Age 88, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully in his home on February 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Weston. He is survived by his five children, Robert Ewing and wife Hilda, Tony Ewing and wife Shirley, Paul Ewing and wife Josie, Evelyn Ewing-Lujan and husband Gilbert, and Lawrence Ewing. After he raised his five children he raised three more children, Steven Garcia, Angelica Ewing-Sanchez and husband Phil, Lisa Ewing-Moreno and husband Eddie. Heis also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines and served in WWII in Iwo Jima and Midway. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Final visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Church with a Communion Service to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. A 1:30 p.m. Committal Service will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Garcia, Paul Ewing, Brandon Ewing, Lawrence Ewing Jr., Tony Ewing and Eddie Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Moreno, Phil Sanchez, Abel Apodaca, Monte Olivas, Mike Yanez and Jonathan Aguilar. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, 764-9663.
