HOOD, ALBERT &Quot;AL&Quot; HARPER Aug. 19, 1942- March 12, 2013 Age 70, of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at San Juan Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 19, 1942 in Las Cruces, the son of Max Harper and Pauline (Kester) Hood. Albert, known as Al was called to heaven. Known to many as a great husband, father, brother and friend. We will all miss him greatly. “Rest easy my son for you are in your Father’s arms.” Al leaves behind his wife, Arlene Hood; sons, Max Hood and wife, Becky, Gaylan Hood and wife, Dana, Matthew Hood; great-niece, Sandra; sisters, Gerrie Rector and husband, Paul and JoAnna Carleton and husband, Bob; seven grandchildren and many dear friends. Al was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Hood and his parents, Max and Pat Hood. A funeral service for Al will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E Ute in Farmington with Al’s family conducting the service. Burial will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 18, in Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE in Albuquerque. A reception will follow the grave side service at the home of JoAnna Carleton, 201 Calle Del Fugeo in Albuquerque. Donations are being accepted to help the family with burial expenses at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home in Farmington. Al’s care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E.
