GARA, CHARLES &Quot;CHUCK&Quot; age 65, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 surrounded by his loving family; wife Margie, daughters Denise and Amy, sister Rosemary Porsberg and niece Terri Porsberg and close friends Lloyd and Jessica Bonzon, Dawn Moyer and Mary Foster. Chuck is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margie; daughters, Denise Gara and Amy Banks; his grandchildren, Kiera and Liam Banks; sister, Rosemary Porsberg; niece, Terri Porsberg; brother-in-law, David Hopkins and wife Debbie, and their sons Mike and Kevin. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff and Presbyterian Hospital who always took care of Chuck with such expertise and compassion on each of his stays throughout the years. Our special love and gratitude goes to Dr. Miguel Pellerano for all his years of caring for Chuck’s welfare. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain NE with Pastor Mike Easton officiating. Interment will take place in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck’s name to Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation Nurses Education Fund or to Casa Esperanza.
