ANAYA-REHBERG, MAGDALENA Passed away July 5 at her beloved “Mi Tierra Encantada” in the Zuni Mountains. Magdalena was preceded in death by Magdalena and Felipe Chavez, Espiridiona and Santiago Anaya, Paulita Saavedra, and Angelina Ruiz. She is survived by her husband Daniel; daughters Amy and Katie Rehberg; son Charles Rehberg and wife Jennifer Lomeli; grandson Benjamin; siblings Josecito Chavez and wife Terry, Candelaria Trujillo and husband Joe, Elosia Padilla and husband Candelario, Sofia Anaya and husband Joe Sanchez; numerous great-great nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She received her Bachelors Degree from UNM, volunteered for “The Relay for Life” yearly, attended Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Albuquerque and San Lorenzo Mission in Ramah. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (Fourth and Alameda). Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 9 at 9:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
