COOK, THOMAS F. LT. COL. (RET) age 65, of Oak Ridge, TN died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his home in Oak Ridge, TN. Tom was born September 2, 1947 in Munich, Germany. He attended South Hadley High School in South Hadley, Massachusetts, Clemson University and Wichita State University where he earned a MBA. Tom retired from USAF after 23 years of service as Lt. Col. in Albuquerque, NM. He was a V.P. of Albuquerque Economic Development. He was a Project Manager for NetGain and Protection Strategies, Inc. as a subcontractor to DOE in Albuquerque and Oak Ridge. Tom loved life and life loved him. He enjoyed golf, travel, spending time with friends and family and was a connoisseur of craft beers. He is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by: father, Fred Cook; mother, Fran Cook; brothers, Rob Cook and Greg Cook; wife, Carla Cook. Survivors include: wife, Rhonda Cook, Oak Ridge, TN; daughter, Caryn Wood, Oak Ridge, TN; son, Jason Lauver, Nashville, TN; son, Sean Lauver, daughter-in-law Emily Lauver; grandson, Jacob; granddaughter, Ellie, all of Clive, IA; goddaughter, Lorelei Breitfeld, Albuquerque, NM; mother-in-law, Donna Bohms, Ames, IA. DAVIS, DULCINEA EMILIA Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 28, 2012. She is survived by her children, Elaine Sanders and husband Harold, Polly A. Lovato and husband George, Daily A. Davis Jr. and wife Pamela Ann, Anna M. Davis, Patricia A. Roland and husband Cole, Donna M. Bachicha and husband Louis, Elizabeth A James and husband Bill; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Daily A. Davis Sr.; son Michael William Davis; parents, Celestino and Ecolastica Saiz; grandsons, David Sanders and Rob Bachicha III. Her family was her priority as she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gifted decorator in her home and also loved to spend time in her garden where you could hear her singing because of the joy of Christ in her heart. GORDON, MARILYN J. She passed peacefully and comfortable at her home on Friday, October 26, 2012, surrounded by the love and care of her family. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, July 11, 1928, she was 84 years old and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for 56 years. She had been married to her loving husband, Leon M. Gordon for 65 years until his passing in 2011. They had enjoyed traveling to many exotic places together but her favorite were the winter vacations to Maui. Now they are happily reunited in their love and devotion to one another. She was retired from her career with the federal government at Kirtland Air Force base after many years of service. She loved her family and those close to her and her Kansas City Chiefs football team. She is survived by her son, Steve Gordon; daughters, Theresa and Georgia Gordon; daughter-in-law, Louise Gordon; five grandchildren, Ian, Candace and Van Gordon, and Tyson and Adam Nemudrov; four great-grandchildren, all of Albuquerque, NM and her beautiful cat, Josie. We love and miss you and will never forget all the great memories and laughter we have shared. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. GUTTMAN, SUSAN 90, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. She is survived by her granddaughter, Yvette Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rabbi Martin Guttman; her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Julius Erber; and brother, George Fox. Mrs. Guttman was a survivor of the Holocaust and the Hungarian Revolution. After the Hungarian Revolution, she migrated to Israel until she moved to the United States with her husband and daughter. Dr. Rabbi Guttman was a beloved Rabbi in Newark, NJ until his retirement in 1986. Dr. Rabbi and Mrs. Guttman then retired to Rio Rancho, NM. Together, they were members of Congregation B’Nai Israel in Albuquerque.
