BULLARD, EDWIN R. JR. Age 91, a resident of Albuquerque for 22 years, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He is survived by his son, Edwin R. Bullard III and wife, Kathy of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Katie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Norma (“Judy”). He was born in El Paso, TX on December 15, 1921 to Edwin and May Bullard. Ed was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II. Ed met Judy in Oregon while in the Navy, and they were married in March of 1945. Judy and Ed moved to Midland, TX where he began his career in the oil industry. They lived in El Paso for almost 30 years before moving to Albuquerque in 1990. Ed made numerous contributions in the field of geophysics and was well respected by his colleagues and associates. Ed will be remembered as a kind and generous man. He will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever. Cremation has taken place and interment of Ed’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in El Paso, TX.
