BYERS, RUPERT KING Rupert passed away on September 20th, 2012. He graduated from University of Pennsylvania and retired after 40 years at Sandia National Laboratories. Rupert is survived by his wife, Rae; daughter Karen Byers-Blackwell; sons Richard, Michael and his wife Maggie and their children; Zachary and Francine and daughter Pamela Donahue, husband Kent and their children; Garrett, Avery, Hudsen and Shae; brother, Frank Hugh Byers; sisters Susan Ekis and Alicia Byers Smith. He was preceded in death by his mother Muriel King Smith; father, Frank Byers; and son-in-law Eric Blackwell. A memorial is planned for early October.
